Its you not knowing to simply ask and tell her direct.
It would have been easier, if you asked first and then action on
somethings.
Eg.....conversation: Dearling argh....your friends leaving soon.
Would you prefer to spend your birthday with them and I go fishing
and give you and friends some party space?
Then I come back, before they are gone, and we go celebrate some
more. You can choose to celebrate with me privately or wth them
along too, as a farewell thingy?
